Half Empty
Mag-Art Book & Zink Magazine
Received a couple of nice write-ups. Mag-Art came out in late 2006, the Zink article is actually from 2005 but I just found out about it recently.
Check out the projects in question, Half Empty magazine and Wednesday Cooper.

Art In Retail & Olyndian Games PDFs
We received a request for these Half Empty #1 articles in PDF form, so here they are! In Art In Retail, curators Sebastien Agneessens, of the Diesel Denim Gallery in New York and Jeremy Bailey, of the Nike Presto Showroom in Toronto, discuss their experiences and offer perspectives on how to successfully fold Art into Branding. In The Olyndian Games artist Jon Burgerman draws the Diesel Spring/Summer 2003 Collection.

Half Empty #3 now online

Half Empty is a www posse my friends and I created — first in 1998 as a website, then in 2003 as a newsprint magazine. The project was active for about nine years, and generated tons of content. To ensure it stays available I’ve been migrating that archive into a WordPress implementation. It is still very much a work-in-progress, with a lot still to do on the site and a lot of content yet to move.
That said, I am pleased to report that the material from the third paper issue, Half Empty #3, is now online! There’s contributions by James Paterson, Luke Painter, Liz Cowie, Ryan Solski, Jeremy Bailey, Nicholas Di Genova, Above, Tiffany Malakooti and Nathaniel G. Moore; as well as pieces on the TEST performance collective, video artist Daniel Cockburn, educator Elana Langer, V tape’s Curatorial Incubator and an interview with comic book artist Paul Pope. This is all stuff that was previously unavailable in digital form.
In addition to the HTML posts, a PDF of the entire issue is can be downloaded from the Half Empty #3 page.
Half Empty #1 and #2 now online

As I mentioned previously, I’ve been migrating the Half Empty archive into a WordPress implementation. I am happy to announce that all material from the paper magazines Half Empty #1 and Half Empty #2 is now online!
Half Empty #1, published in 2003, includes a roundtable discussion on Art In Retail with views from Jeremy Bailey and Sebastien Agneessens; a fashion story illustrated by Jon Burgerman; interviews with television producer Jen Podemski, typographer Pablo Medina and artists Kinya Hanada and Ilan Katin; plus lots of original art.
Half Empty #2, published in 2004, includes a roundtable discussion on Commissioning Street Art moderated by the Wooster Collective; an interview with Karl Ackerman; a look at First Fridays in Phoenix, AZ; artist statements by Inksurge and Jaime Leblanc; reviews of books Type & Typeography and Charles Wilkin’s Index-A; and much more.
In addition to the HTML posts, PDFs can be downloaded from the Half Empty #1 and Half Empty #2 pages.
